A Gender Agenda (AGA) works with and on behalf of intersex, trans and gender diverse people, their friends, families and allies. AGA provides social support, events, workshops, advocacy, training,
policy advice and resources. We utilise a community development approach in our work that values the voices of lived experience.

Reporting to the Executive Director, in this highly varied role you will be responsible for carrying out various tasks and projects in areas ranging from reception duties, office administration, communication, training and event management.
You will have demonstrated experience in providing secretarial and/or administrative support requiring a high degree of judgment, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity.
As you will be managing correspondence, reports and numerous other forms of communication, including content on our website, you will need strong writing and editing skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail.
Equally, you will be able to prioritise your workload to manage your time effectively and achieve outcomes within agreed timeframes. Excellent computer skills are essential.
You will be joining a small team so will be willing to pitch in to ensure the job gets done. You will thrive with challenges and be excited about the opportunity to assist with our training and events functions. Previous event management and/or workplace training experience will be highly regarded.
Ideally, you will have lived experience and /or a strong identification of engaging effectively and working collaboratively with diverse communities, including members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex and Gender Diverse communities.
The position offers a generous full-time equivalent annual salary of $64,000, plus super, plus salary packaging options to increase your take home pay.
