About the role
We believe our Volunteer Coordinator is an integral members of our team. We are seeking an experienced volunteer coordinator to recruit and support volunteers across programs, coordinate new and pre-loved goods at its Melbourne sites, and organize community events and fundraisers. Supported by a small team of staff, the role ensures that the spirit of the community in embedded in programs for pregnant women and young families.
The role will be critical to supporting Caroline Chisholm Society to flourish, with an increased focus on a culture of learning, accountability and meeting the needs of families through fundraising – so that Caroline Chisholm Society can be the best it can be in empowering pregnant women and their babies and be there for new mums and dads, their babies and toddlers.
The successful applicant will have experience in volunteer coordination including compliance, understanding of the workplace health and safety requirements of processing of new and pre-loved goods, experience in organizing events, good communication skills and judgement.
Salary is negotiated commensurate with experience.
