About the organisation
Eastern Domestic Violence Services (EDVOS) is a not-for-profit specialist family violence service in Melbourne’s eastern metropolitan region. We provide an integrated range of support and services to empower women and children who are responding to family violence. We operate within a human rights framework and our focus is on supporting the safety of women and children and the accountability of perpetrators.

Full Time (38 hours per week)
We are seeking a Data Entry Administration Officer to join our Information and Analysis team within our corporate office. The Information and Analysis team is responsible for the accurate and detailed analysis of data to ensure EDVOS complies with both its internal and external data collection requirements. The position we are offering is fixed term until 30 June 2019 full time (38 hours per week).
The Data Entry Administration Support Officer will support the Information and Analysis team to ensure accurate and detailed entry of data ensuring EDVOS complies with both its internal and external data collection requirements. The Data Analysis Support Officer will work with the team leader to respond to data requests as well as monitoring and identifying trends and opportunities for service improvement.
Essential to your success
- Appropriate qualifications in administrative area, or relevant experience in administration including experience in data entry and data collection
- Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality outcomes.
- Ability to quickly learn both technical and non-technical systems and processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage, support, and encourage colleagues in data collection methods.
- Proficiency in the use of client record management databases is desirable (e.g. SHIP, IRIS)
- Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team

EDVOS hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9am until 8pm and Saturday from 9am until 5pm.
Salary for this position will be aligned with SCHADS Level 3 + 9.5% super.
