Senior Worker

We are seeking a passionate and highly experienced Senior Worker to join our newly formed team in Ballarat. The position is full time, 38 hours per week.

The successful applicant will be suitably qualified and be able to demonstrate competence in :

• Coordinate innovative program design and development, in-line with the organisations strategic directions, goals and reporting requirements
•  Provide individualised case management (to residents and in an outreach capacity) according to our Direct Practice Competency framework and program goals
• Conduct and review daily risk & safety assessments
•  Provide ongoing flexible support to empower women to regain power and control of their lives, through accessing appropriate, individual support and safe and affordable housing.
• Work collaboratively with team members and external services to provide an integrated continuum of support and exit planning.
• Directly supervise the on-site Support worker, McAuley support staff, and all trades and services
• High level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills are also required for this position.

A Police check, a Working with Children Check and a current driver’s license are mandatory.

Salary is in accordance with the SCHADS Award and is equivalent to Level 6, pay point 1. Salary packaging is available.
