The Role
You will lead a brand new supporter acquisition program and inspire supporters to give financially to bring healthcare to regional, rural and remote Australia, with a focus on face to face programs and the acquisition of regular givers. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will successfully develop and implement acquisition strategies to significantly increase the quantity and quality of new donors recruited to Royal Flying Doctor Service, South Eastern Section in order to expand income and meet the growing needs of the organisation. You will ensure all opportunities to secure new individual donors are maximised and that Royal Flying Doctor Service, South Eastern Section diversifies its acquisition portfolio through:
- the successful delivery of a multichannel acquisition program including face to face and regular giving streams and optimisation of digital and other innovations
- identifying key growth opportunities as part of a team of senior fundraising managers
- driving integration across departments and planning and implementing all donor acquisition programs across multiple channels
- recruiting supporters with the highest return on investment
- developing and implementing effective welcome strategies for all new supporters
- capitalising on new technology and significantly maximising opportunities in the digital space
- managing outsourced providers and suppliers
- evaluating the acquisition success against annual objectives and targets
Skills Required
You are an experienced acquisition, fundraising or marketing manager with a proven record in both advocacy and growing revenue. Managing a growing team, your skills have been developed from driving relationship based programs, inspiring both customers and colleagues. You will be able to demonstrate your ability in:
- creating innovative strategies to increase supporter acquisition and focus on segments that are most likely to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service in the longer term, in order to maximise donor numbers and life-time value
- leading and building a team of donor acquisition fundraisers
- running outsourced face to face acquisition and/or regular giving programs
- broadening the variety of revenue streams
- knowledge of loyalty marketing and retention and development programs
- building relationships with potential donors, corporates and other key stakeholders
