To achieve meaningful and enduring impact, Good Shepherd intends to leverage their assets, build coalitions for impact, and continue to advocate to change systems for the better. Three newly created leadership roles are key to the success of this strategy, and will complete the Executive team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
About the role
This national role is responsible for identifying and developing strategies that keep women, girls and families safe, strong and connected with their communities. It provides leadership to designated locations, and will be jointly responsible with the GM Economic Wellbeing for ensuring that our clients experience integrated high quality services. With a focus on service innovation you seek to develop and deliver new services and models that create positive outcomes for clients, partners and funders. In collaboration with the executive leadership team you will deliver GSANZ’s mission and strategic plan through effective change management strategies and people management expertise.
A professional and skilled leader, with significant experience of best practice service delivery, co-design and modern community engagement you will demonstrate the ability to manage across geographically dispersed teams. With an engaging and proactive style, you will foster a culture of respect for client’s dignity; and create productive relationships with stakeholders and partners to improve client outcomes. A strong understanding of the funding, governance, legislative requirement and contemporary quality frameworks is essential. Formal qualifications in Psychology/Social Work/Social Science/Community Development or related tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
