ADACAS (The A.C.T. Disability, Aged and Carer Advocacy Service ) is a non-profit, community–based organisation that is dedicated to providing advocacy for people with disability, including people with psychosocial disability, and for older people and carers.
About the role
The role of the Intake and Information Team Leader is to respond to intake and inquiry calls, and support the team in ensuring the smooth running of the ADACAS office. The role entails being the first point of contact for clients or any other persons contacting the organisation, necessitating professionalism, friendliness, and excellent communication skills, in often stressful situations for the clients. The Intake Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the work of the small intake team and providing day to day supervision of the intake and information worker.
