About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced family or youth worker to join our Stronger Families program as a Finding Solutions Plus Case Worker. The position is part time, working 2.5 days per week and is based at our Narre Warren office. The role is initially maximum term for 6 months with the possibility of extension or transfer across Uniting available
The Finding Solutions Plus program:
- Provides short term case management support to young people aged 10 to 15 years who are at imminent risk of being placed in out of home care for the first time, or to support their return home.

The Case Worker – Finding Solutions Plus will:
- Deliver a young person centred approach to hear the voice of, and respond to the needs of the young person, within a family focused model.
- Use a strengths based approach, to empower the young person and their family to self-determine plans to promote the young person’s safety, development and permanency of placement.
- Provide outreach assessment, mediation and a range of supports to young people.

About you
