Community Health Promotion Officer

We’re offering a great opportunity for an exceptional individual to use their background experience in the disability sector and an excellent understanding of the sexuality and gender diverse communities to implement our project to assist LGBTIQ people with disability to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

You will work in cooperation with People With Disability Australia (PWDA) and other ACON staff members to allow LGBTIQ people with disability to better understand the NDIS by giving them the skills, confidence and information to make informed decisions and choices about their own health needs.

This is a part time position (21 hours/week) offered on a one year contract.
