You’ll be given the opportunity to challenge yourself, build on your skills, and make a significant contribution to a workplace that’s filled with energetic and inspiring people. Talent thrives here – and so do truly satisfying careers.
In this opportunity you will be responsible for securing major and principal gifts, with a focus on gifts of $100k+ and $1m+, through the development and implementation of comprehensive engagement plans for ERDA, ensuring that they are aligned with portfolio and university objectives. You will have specific responsibility for cultivating productive relationships with current and prospective donors; and will also provide oversight and line management to one Alumni and Foundation Officer, who will be delivering fundraising and alumni programs to the Faculty.

With exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated capability to effectively engage and inspire a wide range of interested parties, you will have proven your ability to plan, generate and execute innovative fundraising and relationship management strategies across multiple stakeholder groups, achieving financial commitment from donor groups and exceeding revenue targets. Your up-to-date knowledge of communication techniques will ensure a consistent message and effective approach whilst your high-level research, analysis, planning and advisory skills will provide guidance and influence to ERDA and authoritative advice to the Division’s senior management team regarding philanthropic strategic direction in alignment with the University’s Vision Statement.
