About the organisation
South West Sydney Legal Centre is a not for profit organisation established in 1986 delivering free legal services in South West Sydney to those disadvantaged by social and economic circumstances. The Centre also provides legal, support and case management services to women and children who have experienced family and domestic violence. We are known for our proactive and energetic approach to service delivery and community engagement initiatives.
About the role
This position provides the opportunity for rewarding and constructive engagement on both professional and community levels.
We are searching for a senior solicitor with a commitment to social justice and a demonstratedbreadth of experience in all aspects of Family, Civil and Domestic Violence related Law. Proficiency and experience in the Family Dispute Resolution context and in Employment Law will also be highly valued. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be required to work with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. You must be eligible for a NSW Law Society Practising Certificate and be able to use your own vehicle for work when required.
