Mental Health Support Workers

We are looking for people who are passionate to work within an experienced and supportive team. The successful candidates will be working with customers to live a fulfilling life in their own homes and community.

Areas of work include: Perth CBD, Morley, Mt Lawley, Maylands, Bayswater, Bassendean, Glendalough and Dianella – must be residing in or around these areas.

Duties Include;

• Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
• Connecting customers to the local community including social supports
• Problem solving issues with the person and/or their family, and the team

What we require:

• Previous experience in providing Mental ill-health supports (essential)
• Minimum Cert 4 in Mental Health (preferred)
• Strong communication skills
• Be available to respond to changing support times
• Have daily access to a reliable vehicle and possess a current driver’s licence
• Availability to work a variety of shifts throguhout the week (mainly Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm) and to have flexibility for work on weekends and early and late shifts.

In return, you will have access to some great benefits! A minimum hourly rate of $24.50 is on offer as is a travel allowance of 76 cents per kilometre between supports. Other benefits include the payment of travel time, the option of salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free, and accrued annual and personal leave.
