About the role

Who we’re looking for
You will have:
- A minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support;
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in coordinating and delivering support services in Home Care Package environment;
- Prior customer service experience;
- Prior leadership experience;
- Stakeholder management experience;
- Comprehensive understanding of the community services policy and funding environment;
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation with a working knowledge of current knowledge of Home and Community Care frameworks, funding, agreements and service standards.
What you’ll be doing
This newly created role has responsibility for two Older Adult related teams in Outer East: Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support Program – Social Activity Groups.
The Operation Lead will:
- work with programs and area staff to plan, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the programs;
- lead the development, implementation and maintenance of systems and procedures for operating efficiency;
- manage staff for optimum integrated delivery of older adult services;
- develop and maintain high functioning relationships with key stakeholders and partners;
- actively participate as a contributing member of the Outer East Melbourne Directorate including strategic planning and development;
- representing EACH whilst participating in external marketing events and functions;
- provide strong and effective leadership to the program;
provide professional supervision and performance review of staff and provide clinical governance to other Older Adult Teams as required.
