About the role
Junction Youth Health Service (JYHS) are currently searching for a talented Practice Manager to join our team in Canberra. The Practice Manager will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide administrative and operational support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery aligned with contract requirements.
You will provide essential HR support, oversee financial forecasts and have the opportunity to establish procedures that guide your team towards exceeding expectations. You will have excellent communication skills and liaise regularly with the clinical team and executives.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a suite of practice policies and procedures, including a business continuity and disaster recovery plan, as required for accreditation purposes and organisational needs.
- Ensure practice consumables and equipment are adequately stocked and maintained to the proper standards and conditions.
- Manage and coordinate the human resources required for the delivery of the service, including all administrative and operational processes in line with Anglicare policy and practice.
- Encourage governance and social responsibility in accordance with Anglicare values and the Sanctuary Model.
- Oversee budgets and purchasing for the service. Responsible for the services financial records and the provision of regular financial reports.
- Maintain primary responsibility for the practice’s electronic systems and computer security in consultation with Anglican Diocesan Services and contractors.
- Lead the practice, alongside the Clinical Director, in risk management and quality improvement processes.
