About the role

The Senior Manager – Education Projects will manage the implementation and management of the College’s Rural Training Network and manage the Specialist Training Program funding. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in project management, stakeholder engagement and working with complex systems with resource constraints. The role primarily includes:

  • Collaborating with College Committees, Commonwealth, State and Territory Departments of Health, training sites and other stakeholders to identify potential posts, ensure they meet RANZCO’s policy and standards for the accreditation of training posts and secure funding for these posts.
  • Planning and undertaking the implementation of individual posts and the Rural Training Network as a whole.
  • Organising and supporting meetings and workshops of key College Committees
  • Managing Specialist Training Post (STP) funded training posts and projects and ensuring posts and projects deliver quality training and comply with the requirements of the STP funding agreements.
  • Collaborating with RANZCO’s finance team to manage and acquit STP funding against requirements of STP funding agreements.
  • Preparing written reports and documents that comply with requirements of the College.

As this is a senior position, the successful candidate must have experience working in the health or education sector with senior stakeholders.
