About the role

Brisbane Grammar School is now seeking an experienced and inspiring leader as the Executive Director, Advancement & Community Relations, who will help to further harness their philanthropic community in order to help realise the School’s strategic priorities of the future.

Reporting to the Headmaster and a key and active member of the School’s Senior Leadership team, the Executive Director will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of all aspects of the School’s community engagement, both strategically and operationally. He/she will further develop and deliver the School’s giving programs, with particular priority being given to the School’s fundraising campaign. The Executive Director also has oversight of marketing/communications and public relations activity for the School, with external and internal community members.

To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience in a senior Advancement role and proven success in cultivating and soliciting major and principal gifts from a variety of sources. Your outstanding communication skills will be matched by your ability to work with senior stakeholders internally and externally.  Your interpersonal skills and collaborative approach will ensure your ability to lead, nurture and develop a high performing team.
