About the role
Bridges Health & Community Care “Bridges” is seeking an experienced Project Manager to implement our Mind-Life Initiative throughout Qld. Funded by the National Disability Insurance Agency through their Information, Linkages & Capacity (ILC) building grants for 2 ½ years, Mind-Life aims to improve the disability sector and broader community’s understanding of psychosocial disability through reframing the term psychosocial so that it is easily understood, in terminology that is more acceptable and less stigmatising, resulting in better outcomes for people who are experiencing Mind-Life adversity. As Project Manager, you will participate in the planning and co-design of Mind-Life resources in partnership with people with lived experience, our creative marketing team and external consultants experienced in mental health programs, social media and program design and evaluation.

Service providers will be provided with tools and resources to improve their understanding of client needs and Mind-Life service options, including the NDIS. People with Mind-Life adversity will have access to information and referral options to build their capacity and self-manage their Mind-Life needs. Design thinking methodology, co-designed with lived experience and end users, will be used to produce resources that are user-friendly and accessible to anyone.
While Bridge’s Head Office is based in Bundaberg, we are willing to employ a project manager from any major city in Qld to ensure we secure the best and most suitable candidate. You must have exceptional communication skills, experience in working in the social sector, preferably mental health, amazing time management and exceptional IT skills. Renumeration is approximately $110K per annum, plus salary sacrificing, with all costs associated with the project covered through the grant. Must be willing and able to travel (fly and drive).
