The Northern Territory Mental Health Coalition (the Coalition) is a peak body for the Northern Territory (NT) community mental health and wellbeing. The Northern Territory Mental Health Coalition has an opportunity with this new position to expand its representation, contribution and advocacy for policy and program development. This will support the provision of credible, evidence-based information and advice to government and its agencies and to develop sustainable responses to strategic and emerging policy and program development opportunities for the Northern Territory mental health and suicide prevention sector.
About the role
The position will be responsible for the identification and creation of mechanisms to address policy issues of concern with key stakeholders and to undertake short term projects that benefit the mental health and suicide prevention sector. The position will ensure the provision of effective external communication which contributes to the development of a strong and viable community mental health sector in the Northern Territory.
