About the organisation
About the role
- Growing NFP
- Domestic and Family Violence Sector
- Voluntary Position
We are supporting a growing NFP organisation to identify candidates for the role of Chair. With a small board already in place, their growth and success to date necessitates taking the next step of appointing a Chair to establish governance practices and to work with the founders to establish a clear and defined strategy for the future.
The organisation has a solid funding model that supports the delivery of practical and well executive programs supporting individuals and families experiencing the effects of domestic violence. These programs are designed to bring about change and create opportunities for those they support to a way out of the cycle and to live their best lives.
Being a voluntary role, we are seeking an experienced Chair or a Director seeking an opportunity to step up as Chair, with a passion for the sector and driving outcomes that will mean a society free of domestic violence. Specifically, you will be able to guide the organisation to establish a committed and well-defined Board that will support the objectives of the organisation. You will work closely with the founders to ensure their vision and passion is realised but within a structure of governance and leadership, robust strategic planning and direction and engaged contribution by appropriately skilled new Directors.
To express your interest please send your Board CV to n.olsson-seeto@ontalent.com.au. If you would like more information prior to submitting please phone Natasha Olsson-Seeto on 07 3305 5800.
