About the role
- 5 min walk from Central Station
- Flexible working hours
- Surry Hills location
We are looking for an organised and efficient person who is available to work a minimum of 2 days per week – we have the flexibility to structure it around your commitments. Preferably one day would be a Tuesday.
The role is newly created and supports our National Program Manager and Welfare Manager with administrative tasks on a range of program activities and fundraising events. The role will be varied and include social media posts, responding to enquiries/ emails and helping out with office administration and assist with coordination of events, both fundraising and program. Bookkeeping experience or knowledge of financial software (Xero) would be an advantage but not essential.
This is a great opportunity for someone returning to work who is looking to ‘reboot’ their CV as the role can grow to suit your social media, event or administration skills. Possibility of remuneration in the future.
Our office is small, but filled with colour, energy & laughter. Our team of 5 dedicated and inspiring women (some full-time, part-time and volunteers) are passionate about our program and making a difference. We need a ‘roll up the sleeves’ attitude as we operate on a limited budget and the ability to work in a small team environment is essential. The ability to work with highly confidential information and WWC / police checks are also required.
Our year-long mentoring and education program fosters resilience, confidence and critical life skills for underprivileged girls. Our 1:1 mentoring program gives teenage girls a positive female role model and inspires them to do great things in the future. We are not affiliated with any political or religious institution. We are grateful for the long-term corporate sponsorship of Nivea and our many pro-bono affiliates who make our program possible.
