About the role
The Role:
This exciting, strategic leadership position will hold multidisciplinary responsibility in driving the service development strategy for Able Australia. Leveraging off the strengths of Able Australia’s current services this influential role will be accountable for a sustainable growth plan for new service areas in line with the NDIS.
This role will work closely with and support senior leaders (across operating divisions) in aligning service development services with strategic business plans and organisation objectives, providing an opportunity to establish and implement a lasting legacy with one of the country’s leading disability service providers.
With the support of a small team of nationally-based business leaders and the service development team the National Director Service Development, reporting to the CEO will be responsible for:
- Planning, implementing and driving a formal strategy on how existing and future Able Australia services would be funded
- Driving an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to sustainable growth and client inclusion implementing innovative methods to improve Able Australia services
- Establishing regular income flow through multiple service streams ensuring revenue targets are achieved and drive innovate strategies for new service development opportunities
- Identifying, researching and securing business development and sustainable growth opportunities in line with Able Australia’s strategic plan
- Leading and driving the development of Able Australia’s market offering to clients. This will range from individual clients through to back office support and M&A.
The National Director Service Development will focus on the Able Australia’s sustainable growth in QLD and VIC and assist with potential leads and expansion prospects nationally. The role will require national travel on a regular basis. Complimentary, Ethical and sustainable expansion and profitable growth in revenue are critical factors and KPI focussing on growth targets will be set.
The Person:
The successful candidate will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Human Services and management experience in a related area/field
- Demonstrated success and experience in driving sustainable and ethical business growth in a service environment, preferably in a ‘for purpose’ business.
- Business development experience with a background in identifying and implementing strategies for business growth
The offer:
The National Director Service Development position is offered on a 2 year, renewable fixed term contract with a competitive salary plus an earnable bonus and superannuation. In additional, you will be able to access attractive PBI/NFP salary packaging.
Experience in NFP sector is highly desirable however disability sector experience is not essential (but considered an advantage).
