About Us

Launch Housing has an ambitious and singular mission to end homelessness. We aim to get people housed, keep them housed, and be an influential voice on ending homelessness. We are a secular, independent provider of choice for clients and the ‘go to’ organisation on homelessness for government, media, philanthropy, private donors and the community.

The Role

We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join the casual pool within our dedicated Initial, Assessment and Planning (IAP) team’s in Collingwood, Cheltenham and St Kilda, committed to working with people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness.

Our IAP Service is Launch Housing’s first point of contact with our clients. The role of staff in this team is to provide information, referrals and support to assist families and individuals to find short term and long term, secure and affordable housing. Therefore, we are looking for people who can work under pressure with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.

The IAP team collectively covers the hours of 9am- 5pm, Monday to Friday. Locum shifts will always be a minimum of 4 hours and we are ideally seeking flexible applicants with a broad range of availability across the working week to help assist us with appropriate coverage and resourcing.
