ABOUT THE PROGRAM

SSI has recently been advised of our successful tender to deliver the National Disability Insurance Scheme Partners in the Community Program (PITC), in the South West Sydney and Sydney districts, for the next three years. The program provides for Local Area Coordination (LAC) services to assist Participants in developing or reviewing support plans as well as extensive work in the community to promote inclusion and opportunities for people to access mainstream service. SSI is required to commence the transition of support services from 1st July 2020 with full-service delivery from 1st October 2020.

The PITC Program in SSI will cover the fourteen local government areas in South Western Sydney and Sydney Metro Area’s with a team of over 200 people including Local Area Coordinators and other management, administration and support staff located at a range of sites across each area.

Purpose of the Role

Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the LAC Program’s Quality Framework by adopting a systematic approach that includes the development, implementation and review of policies, procedures and resources, as agreed with senior managers of the LAC program.

Your Contribution

  • Identify and maintain quality, data and reporting registers and action plans.
  • In collaboration with Senior Managers and in alignment with SSI’ Services Quality Framework, develop and implement Quality Management tools
  • Support the LAC program to ensure high quality service is maintained in program activities
  • Develop and roll out quality tools and resources to support the delivery of LAC Programs
  • Assist with developing internal audits as required
  • Build capacity in the LAC program by planning and delivering specific and relevant projects
  • Assess the progress and outcomes of the project to measure success
  • Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality is maintained
  • Lead the delivery of LAC Program reporting to ensure funding requirements are met

About You

You will have demonstrated experience or qualifications in quality framework design and implementation, project management and advanced report writing. Demonstrated experience working in the human services sector e.g. disability, child services, allied health, social work, community development, education will help you succeed in this role. You will have proven interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and liaise across all levels both internally, externally and with people from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated experience with person-centred thinking and planning will be highly regarded. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours and in a range of locations across areas and regions as required will be essential.

You must have A valid NSW drivers licence and the ability to travel regularly throughout your designated region.
