About You

To be considered for this position you will have demonstrated experience in a similar risk, compliance or assurance role, preferably in the education sector. A qualification in a relevant field would be highly regarded, and you will need a strong knowledge of industry and professional standards, frameworks and tools to support risk management and compliance. Working with centres and staff across the network, you will need to be able to manage your time effectively and have great communication skills, able to establish productive relationships across XFSN and relevant stakeholders from Edmund Rice Education Australia. Flexible and able to adjust your approach to each situation, you’ll understand that processes won’t always be 100% foolproof, particularly as our Network engages with young people from a variety of backgrounds and situations. A strong team player, you’ll be collaborative and willing to work with staff to find the best approach or pathway, explaining the reasoning behind decisions or processes as needed to ensure everyone is ‘on board’ and working together. Experience with the CompliSpace database system would be highly regarded, though not essential provided you have strong computer literacy, demonstrated database experience, and are confident using a range of software to analyse data and prepare reports. Though you’ll be joining a well-resourced and highly respected organisation, as part of Edmund Rice Education Australia, you’ll enjoy the benefits of a small, genuinely dedicated team, with great autonomy and ongoing opportunities for professional development.
