In 2019 they established a public benevolent charity arm called ‘Carmel Impact’ to help those in need in Timor-Leste. Carmel Impact’s vision is to build a future in which East Timorese people have pathways to quality education and more opportunities.

As a key member of a small collaborative team, The Donor Care and Database Administrator will be responsible for the fundraising data requirements, including processing of donations, data entry, data analysis, data management and extraction for fundraising campaigns as well as campaign reporting.

Your ability to expertly manage the database management system as well as monitor data accuracy and integrity are paramount as caretaker for the database. This together with a genuine desire to connect with and inspire donors to support the work of our dual branded organisation is integral. Possessing a solid foundation in analysis reporting will provide key data insights and coding options for the strategic direction required to steward our loyal and committed donors as well as growth opportunities in both current and new programs to increase fundraising income.

Management of a previous database is essential, along with meticulous attention to detail, an attitude of inquisitiveness, and solid excel experience. Previous charity sector experience with a database management system, donor stewardship, data analysis and reporting will all be highly regarded and will contribute to successful outcomes.

Location, Location – The Carmelites are in Middle Park, a short stroll from the beach with great neighbouring cafes, a local post office and other amenity stores. There is convenient access via tram and free on-street parking. You will also be given the flexibility of working some hours from home.
