Reporting to the General Manager – Supporter Experience, Acquisition and Growth, the Donor Analytics & Insights Manager is responsible for leading and supporting the Donor Analytics and Insights team; developing and implementing the data strategy for the fundraising department; and leading all areas of insights, analytics and operations to improve the donor experience and long-term revenue.

Leading a small team and working collaboratively with the fundraising and marketing departments, you will be responsible for data segmentation, analytics, information integrity, reporting, campaign dashboards, data warehousing, data migration, optimisation and user training.  You will strengthen analytics capability and establish best-practice analytics (both predictive and behavioural analysis) to optimise the fundraising strategy, donor acquisition, life-time donor value (LTDV), loyalty and experience.

Strategic thinking, problem solving, numerical and analytical skills will be applied to innovate and maximise fundraising delivery. The ability to decipher complex information, communicate effectively and make sound decisions is required, plus experience with data segmentation for multi-channel fundraising streams, including direct mail and large-scale campaigns.

You will be a values-based leader with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide valuable insights to inform forecasting, learning, benchmarking and campaign results, along with presenting insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and strategic direction. Experience using Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, 5+ years of data management experience and qualifications in Business, Commerce or Marketing is required, plus alignment to The Salvation Army’s core values – Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Integrity, Relevance, Co-Operation & Celebration. Experience in fundraising sector highly desirable.
