About This Opportunity

UQ Advancement are looking for an outstanding candidate to fulfil the role of Prospect Development Analyst. This position is responsible for leading prospect management initiatives, prospect identification initiatives and development of prospect development reports and data analytics to support fundraising and engagement activities at UQ. 

This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus, renowned as one of Australia’s most attractive university campuses, and located just 7km from Brisbane’s city centre. Bounded by the Brisbane River on three sides, and with outstanding public transport connections, our 114-hectare site provides a perfect work environment – you can enjoy the best of both worlds: a vibrant campus with the tradition of an established university.

Our Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with a range of clients and internal stakeholders in a complex organisation.

Key Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in mining, integrating and extracting information from and disperse datasets (CRM, Web and marketing) and translating them into business insights that provide recommendations and inform strategy.
  • Proven ability to implement data driven changes in the use of predictive data models.
  • understanding of prospect management in a higher education environment with strong knowledge of fundraising concepts and issues.
  • Experience working within high education, not-for profit sector highly valued.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term position at HEW level 7.

The base salary will be in the range $88,763 – $96,783, plus super of up to 17%.
