About the role
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the management of the Hospital Medical Staff including interns, registrars, staff specialists and locums. This position includes co-ordinating a number of administrative and management processes including recruitment, onboarding, rostering, credentialing and other mandatory workplace requirements. The Manager of Medical Workforce assists the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with the co-ordination of the Medical Division and is supported by the Medical Workforce Administration Assistants.
To be considered for this exciting career and lifestyle role you will be required to demonstrate experience within a management role, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as experience in rostering. Microsoft Office skills and a thorough understanding of the medical workforce awards and agreements is a focus, as is experience drafting employment contracts. An understanding of the acute hospital environment would also be considered an advantage.
