YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Reporting directly to the Financial Accounting Manager, as the Financial Accountant you will provide professional accounting services to the internal and external stakeholders of ACSL. You will play a critical role in month end and year end tasks, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, BAS lodgement, ABS surveys, acquittal reporting, variance analysis and Ad-hoc report.

 

ABOUT YOU

You have relevant tertiary qualifications (ideally CPA or CA qualified). You are a Financial Accountant with several years of experience on preparing monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations of several accounts.

You are passionate about financial accounting and keen on delivering to tight deadlines. You have an eagle eye for accuracy and attention to detail and you love to use critical thinking to solve problems and to create innovative process improvement. You are well aware, the nature of the job means that periodically you will willingly be flexible in order to respond to changing work requirements and peak periods.

You possess good verbal and written communications skills and an attitude to match. You are a great team player and passionate about financial accounti ng and love to develop your skills set.

Key skills and knowledge include;

  • Proactively responsive to internal stakeholders’ enquiries
  • Proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation
  • Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purposes
  • Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies
