About the role
Approximately two thirds of Carriageworks revenue are self-generated. Developing philanthropy is a core priority over the period of the 2021-25 Carriageworks Strategic Plan. The priorities for fundraising, and targets for a comprehensive campaign and annual appeals are set for 2021 and beyond.
The Fundraising Manager will work with the Director of Partnerships and Communications to identify potential donors and move them forward to a major gift ‘ask’. Other responsibilities include managing the stewardship program for donors and the development and implementation of the annual appeals. This will require issuing gift protocols and receipts as required.
The Fundraising Manager will also help build relationships with Trusts and Foundations and work on applying for grants and their acquittals.
The role collaborates with all business units of Carriageworks, including Programs and First Nations Programs, Partnerships and Communication, Commercial and Finance to identify opportunities for integration and increased support for Carriageworks activities.
