About the role
In support of its programming and long-term sustainability, the MSO relies on funding from its philanthropic community. The MSO now seeks a new Head of Philanthropy who will lead all facets of philanthropy activity for the MSO, across major giving, annual giving and bequests. The Head of Philanthropy will lead and manage a high-performing, collaborative philanthropy team and will work closely with the team to raise philanthropic funds for the MSO and its endowment to achieve financial targets.
With a passion for orchestral music and the work of the MSO, you have a breadth of experience in philanthropy program management, ideally gained in the arts. Your capability as a team manager and leader will be matched by an aspiration to further build and make your mark on a growing philanthropy program, in line with the strategic aspirations of the MSO.
