The newly created role of Director of Social Impact and Community Development is pivotal to WentWest’s role as a change agent and enabler of reform. This new executive position will take a lead role in developing, maintaining, and strengthening WentWest’s presence in the community and with providers, governments, philanthropic donors/investors and private sector partners forwarding the organisation’s ambitions to scale, diversify and grow our social impact. Your knowledge of Australian health care and genuine commitment to health system reform and improving health and social outcomes is critical to success in this role.
Leveraging your strong skills in social impact generation and measurement, you will also need to bring a proven track record in stakeholder management, partnership development, and communications. Your ability to contribute to thought leadership, public policy and grant proposals will lead WentWest in pursuing a range of opportunities to deliver on its strategy positively enacting change in Western Sydney. If you are a self starter and are a senior leader with experience in a combination of business and community development, and have a passion of driving change at the executive and board level, this opportunity is for you. Bring your commercial acumen and entrepreneurial drive, and your experience in developing and executing programs/products and business development strategies.
