Reporting directly to the Board of Directors the CEO will oversee the ministry to see that it fulfills its overall mission and vision. You will provide spiritual direction, strong leadership and guidance to the mission to help promote the ongoing growth of the mission in Australia.
The Board is seeking to appoint a gifted leader to build on the solid foundation that has been put in place by their predecessor and to bring with them their own set of unique skills and talent to this exciting role. You will provide leadership to the team nationally and in cooperation with the Board and management, take the necessary actions to implement the strategic plan to ensure the sustainable growth of the organisation. You will possess proven capacity to develop solid relationships with donors, volunteers and staff and have a good level of business experience to effectively plan, budget and manage the finances for the organisation.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of success in a key senior management role where you have worked effectively with a Board. We are looking for a servant leader who is strongly aligned to the values of this unique organisation, who has the ability to influence others, to facilitate change and build excellent relationships with key donors and stakeholders nationally. You will possess excellent people skills, be organised and methodical, have sound business acumen, and possess the unique ability to be able to promote to a wide audience. Your proven experience operating in an organisation dependent upon both volunteers and fundraising will be highly regarded.
Your knowledge and understanding of the Christian landscape in Australia will be important to this role as will be your willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
