The Board of the West Australian Ballet invites applications for the role of Executive Director.
Established in 1952, it is the oldest ballet company in the country and has developed an impressive reputation for classical and contemporary ballet and contemporary dance. The Company is based in Perth and resides at the West Australian Ballet Centre in Maylands.
About the role
The Executive Director will lead the business and financial strategies of the company to ensure continued growth and success, building a high performing team and vibrant culture that supports business operations and delivers the strategic plan. With shared accountability to the board, the Executive Director will work in partnership with the Artistic Director to promote the brand and reputation of the West Australian Ballet.
An exceptional leader with significant executive experience and people management skills, able to build capacity and create a contemporary organisational structure that drives operational excellence. Commercially astute with excellent business management skills, you will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management experience. Passionate about the performing arts, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of the sector.
