Laundry Assistant – Part Time

We’re looking for a Laundry Assistant with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a part time basis, working 25 hours per week based in Clifton Hill.

THE ROLE

The Laundry Assistant is part of an integrated team providing resident care services to the residents. The position ensures that the laundry service at the residence is organised and meets all laundry infection control criteria.

Salary will be in the range of $46,122.96 – $47,919.56 pro rata per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

• Demonstrated hands on laundry experience
• Demonstrated ability to complete set tasks within time frames provided
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of team
• Knowledge OHS, Food Safety and manual handling
• Understanding of and commitment to safe work and hygiene practices.
• Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood.
• Desirable – Aged care or hospital experience
