The Organisation
This well-respected social services organisation strives to enrich the lives of children, young people, families, and community members, providing education in family violence, cultural strengthening and youth services.

 

The Position
You will be taking on the role of HR Manager for the organisation, with a focus on talent acquisition, reporting directly to the Head of HR.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Taking the lead with Talent Acquisition Strategic plans
  • Providing expert HR knowledge and advice, along with the ability to execute operationally and think strategically
  • Drive process improvement to the HR Team and raise the profile across the organisation
  • Effectively leading, engaging, and motivating the HR team
  • Identifying and taking appropriate steps to manage and mitigate risk
  • Support and contribute to HR programs and take the lead on HR initiatives and projects

The Person
About you:

  • Prior experience in an HR Manager function (not-for-profit sector experience advantageous, but not essential)
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in these fields is desirable
  • Passionate about people and supporting those in need, in line with the organisation’s values
  • Great interpersonal skills, time management, and commitment to high-quality customer service
