The Property Industry Foundation brings together the property and construction industry in a unique collaboration to have a tangible impact on youth homelessness. Powered by the industry, The Foundation builds homes for homeless youth and provides ongoing support for homes where young people can rebuild their lives.
Our Goal
The Foundation has been building and refurbishing homes for homeless youth since 1996 and aims to build 300 bedrooms for homeless youth by 2025.

The Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated digital marketing professional to assist in driving our SEO strategy. The ideal candidate will have graduate to 2 years’ digital marketing experience who is passionate about SEO and looking to build their skills in on page, off page and technical SEO and data analytics.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is a part-time role which can be based in our Sydney Office. The initial contract will be for a 6-month period.
You will be a key member of the very small, but very dedicated team at the Property Industry Foundation.
Responsibilities
- Execute tests, collect and analyse data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Work with editorial and marketing team to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Drive the SEO/organic component of the Brand & Marketing strategy
- Monitor the SEO performance of the national website and event fundraising pages including landing pages, and use insights to drive continual innovation and improvement to content
- Use research and analytics to identify new opportunities and gaps in competitor targeting to generate new traffic
- Drive an SEO-based linking strategy to boost the SEO ranking of the national domain
- Monitor Digital Acquisition/SEM/SEO industry developments and devise appropriate tactics and strategies in response
Requirements
- Ability to work with a small team that thrives in a fast-paced but collegiate environment
- Be a people-person that loves face-to-face engagement and conversation
- Innovative and open to trying new approaches and avenues around engagement and fundraising
- Happy to roll up their sleeves and be involved in a wide range of tasks as the situation requires
Your skills
The successful candidate should have good experience in events and administration ideally coupled with experience of working in fundraising organisations. The ideal candidate has:
- Degree in Marketing/Communications (or related discipline)
- Graduate – 2 years’ experience in digital marketing or related discipline
- Demonstrated understanding of SEO tools and techniques
- Demonstrated knowledge of G suite (preferably Google Adwords and Google Analytics)
- Working knowledge of HTML and experience with CMS
- Excellent reporting skills that deliver insights that drive future performance
- Ability to operate in a small team
- A flexible self-starter who is resourceful and uses their initiative
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and CRM databases
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
