True Relationships and Reproductive Health (True) is building our research and evidence capability.
We are seeking an experienced research and policy leader who knows how to develop a strategic research and reporting agenda and apply evidence to action. Reporting to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with all of our teams across Queensland to:
- Lead and elevate the research and evidence-to-action capability of True. This includes building internal capacity to measure the impact of True programs and external research partnerships and capability.
- Develop and embed a True social impact framework and cultural capability framework.
- Lead data-driven input into policy consultations, submissions, strategic advocacy that influence policy and action on sexual and reproductive health.
- Support funding and partnership opportunities that grow True and scale-up service delivery.
SELECTION CRITERIA – WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:
- Extensive knowledge of sexual and reproductive health, healthy relationships and sex education, primary prevention of gendered violence and/or related areas.
- Demonstrated high level leadership and oversight of research and evidence to action strategies in areas relevant to sexual and reproductive health and primary prevention of gendered violence.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to engage with and influence the state and national policy and funding contexts relevant to sexual and reproductive health, sexual violence and public health and violence prevention strategies.
- Experience in implementing social impact and the required change frameworks in organisations.
- Demonstrated ability in managing and inspiring colleagues to achieve organisational goals (including in non-government organisations).
- Advanced analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
