The Role
In this newly created role, you will work with the Media and Corporate Communication Manager and wider corporate services team to support the implementation of a contemporary multi-faceted corporate communication strategy, whilst developing and maintaining media relationships.
You will work across internal and external channels and broader media and public affairs, to drive and deliver messaging that reflects the organisation’s ethos and purpose, including:
- Establishing a communications framework with all PCYC clubs and gathering their stories
- Oversight of internal and external communication strategies and campaigns
- Sourcing ideas, pitching and writing stories for various media platforms
Skills Required
You are a well-rounded media and communications professional with experience working across a multiple brand organisation. Key to your success will be your ability to develop internal and external communication strategies and campaigns in a fast-paced environment, alongside your highly developed media skills which include experience sourcing and pitching story ideas.
Additionally, you have:
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills and strong writing/editing capabilities
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Ability to undertake regular travel to various PCYC Queensland clubs
- A current driver’s licence and eligibility for a QLD Working with Children Check
