  • Full-time ongoing role, modern office based in Lonsdale Street, Melbourne CBD.
About the opportunity

You will work in our Office of the CEO and support the Executive Assistant and CEO of Uniting Vic Tas.

If you’re organised, detail-oriented, and love a fast-paced environment, we will keep you busy and engaged with a variety of responsibilities including:

  • Arranging meetings, travel, and preparing supporting information packs
  • Being the first point of calls for the CEO’s office and managing the inbox
  • Processing invoices, managing data and files, and preparing documents
  • Supporting executive, board and committee meetings, agendas, and papers

In addition to base salary (SCHADS Level 2) and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used on living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.

We offer a great location in Wesley Place, Lonsdale Street. The building offers a range of concierge services, amazing end-of-trip facilities, and events such as free Yoga and well-being sessions. We also work flexibly and set you up with the tools and access to work-from-home some days or at our other Uniting offices.

About you

As an experienced admin assistant working in a fast-paced professional environment, you are calm under pressure, confident with your interpersonal and communication skills, and possess a can-do attitude that will make you a great fit.

You will also bring with you:

  • Experience meeting preparations, diary management, and arranging travel.
  • A customer service mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with the role.
  • Intermediate expertise in Office 365 apps and the ability to support others in using tech.
  • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, attention to detail, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle several tasks and work to deadlines.
