The Opportunity 

An opportunity now exists to join the MBS External Relations division where, as Development Coordinator you will support the Head of Development in the relationship management of major donors, trusts and foundations and annual giving program. The role provides program support and coordinates prospect research, cultivation meetings, proposal development and stewardship activities. The role will also support improved administrative processes, including contacts and opportunity management, grant funding reconciliation and acquittal reporting.

Some key accountabilities will also include:

  • Support the delivery of Development engagement programs such as the Dean’s Circle, annual giving campaigns, bequests, stewardship and donor recognition activities
  • Support timely major funder reports and acquittals of grant/funding deliverables
  • Support the Events, Communication, Marketing and Alumni teams in the delivery of lists for events, creative assets, videos and impact reports
  • Undertake research on individuals and organisations through both internal and external sources
  • Produce background reports and profiling for briefings and events
  • Support set-up and capture in database of customer activities, communications, campaigns and opportunities
  • Reporting support for various purposes

About you

A highly experienced administrator, you will bring to us a background gained within the Not-for-Profit, Education, Medical, Arts or similar sector and having had exposure dealing with high value stakeholders including major donors and trusts and foundations.  Some exposure with supporting relationship management including research and briefings and in coordinating stakeholder meetings and diary management support will be highly regarded as will be your experience collaborating with multiple teams on the delivery of events, marketing, and communications. Demonstrable proficiency in customer/supporter databases such as Dynamics and in coordinating financial and non-financial reporting, reconciliation, and acquittals will also be considered essential.
