Business Analyst

The position of Business Analyst exists manage the priorities of the Technology team in accordance with the organisation’s strategic goals. The position reports to Executive Director: Technology.

Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop, lead key projects, tasks and outcomes that are aligned to and progress the delivery of the Mission and Strategy of the organisation;
• Actively demonstrate and uphold the values and behaviours of the organisation, actively contributing to the team and organisational culture;
• Engage as a partner for internal customers, understanding their needs and championing those within the technology department;
• Evaluation and mapping of processes, and identifying and documenting areas for business improvement, proactively anticipating requirements for stakeholders, and data and technology teams;
• Triage issues and complete root-cause analysis before proposing solutions for stakeholder sign-off and technology and data implementation;
• Aid in the definition of scope, objectives, requirements, dependencies, and technical feasibility for technology efforts.

Selection Criteria
(Job Specific Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications)

Essential

• Bachelor of Computer Science Degree or higher;
• Prince2 or PMI Business Analysis/Project Management Certification;
• Strong communication, negotiation, organisational, and interpersonal skills;
• Strong experience with Microsoft Productivity tools;
• In-depth experience with other project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, and MS Project
