The position of Mid-Level Giver Partnerships Manager will be responsible for growing a portfolio of new and existing mid-level donors by actively generating a pipeline of opportunities, cultivating relationships, and driving support and engagement with this key group of individuals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to further develop and grow the mid-level giver fundraising strategy to have a significant impact. This position will require you to build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to work alongside marketing and fundraising teams to achieve organisational goals.

This position reports to the Major Giver Neighbour Lead and is a permanent full-time position with flexible location (Australia-wide).

Key Accountabilities

    • Live and model Compassion’s core cultural values and act as an advocate to raise awareness of the needs of children living in poverty;
    • Cultivate relational engagement with a portfolio of new and existing mid-level donors;
    • Drive the development and growth of the mid level donor strategy;
    • Develop, monitor, and deliver work plans to achieve strategic goals;
    • Achieve financial and non-financial targets;
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
    • Analyse and utilise data and information via various sources;
    • Participate in domestic or international travel as required for the role;
    • Actively participate in functional planning, both for team and broader department.

Selection Criteria
(Job Specific Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications)

Essential

  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficiency with donor/customer databases for recording and reporting;
  • Exceptional organisation skills;
  • Strong understanding of and ability to take initiative in delivery of customer service and customer experience;
  • Experience in lead generation and prospecting;
  • Experience in event and project management.

Desirable

  • Strong understanding of supporter journeys
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Knowledge of the Australian Christian landscape
  • Experience in NFP Sector
  • Experience in supporter engagement in NFP, for both sponsorship and non-sponsorship fundraising models;
  • Qualifications in Ministry, Sales, Marketing, Events and/or Communications.
