Sponsorship & Community Partnership Coordinator

Position Purpose:

The Sponsorship & Community Partnership Coordinator will focus on two main areas:
1. Servicing of current partners and sponsors
2. Assist with investigating and collating of contacts for companies that have been identified as a potential partner that fit Ovarian Cancer Australia brand

In addition, the Sponsorship & Community Partnership Coordinator will:
1. Ensure communication to current partners is maintained on a monthly and weekly basis leading up to, during and post campaign months

Location: Queen Victoria Women’s Centre,
Level 1, 210 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne Vic 3000
Position Reports to: Sponsorship & Community Partnership Manager
Position Type: Part-time (Up to 19 hours per week – negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Grow Ovarian Cancer Australia’s Sponsorship & Community Partnership revenue stream

• Maintain and develop strong relationships with Sponsors & Community Partners and other potential supporters.
• Ensure Sponsors & Community Partners feel valued, connected and supported through regular communications and updates per annum. As well as weekly when leading up to, during and post campaign months.

Support Sponsor & Community Partner Activities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with Sponsors & Community Partners to ensure they feel supported throughout their partnership with OCA.
• Manage and monitor sponsors and community partnerships as directed by the Sponsorship and Community Partnership Manager.
• Assist the Sponsorship and Community Partnership Manager in delivering, Ovarian Cancer Australia’s fundraising strategy during, leading up to and post campaign months.

General:
• Ensure all contacts and activities are recorded in Salesforce in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the development of Ovarian Cancer Australia strategy and planning.
• Contribute to the culture of decision making including cooperation, collaboration and shared accountability.
• Contribute to evaluation data collections as relevant to areas of responsibility and provide information for routine and ad hoc reporting purposes.
• Provide weekly reports of sponsors and or community partners of activations during and post campaign months
• Other duties as directed.

Key Selection Criteria:

1. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Proven relationship management experience.
3. Assist with achieving financial and other targets.
4. Well-developed planning, research and organisational skills.
5. An ability to prioritise tasks and to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects at any given time.
6. Ability to problem-solve and to take initiative.
7. Excellent computer skills and experience with a range of programs and databases.
8. Knowledge and experience of the health and / or not for profit sector is preferred.
9. Commitment to the vision, mission and values of Ovarian Cancer Australia.
