Hamodava Café Barista Volunteer

Position: Whole in the Wall Café runs out of the Hamodava Café. The barista’s make the coffee’s for the Hamodava Café, as well as staffing a social enterprise take-away coffee shop. We are looking for positive and welcoming people to greet customers, take coffee orders, make coffee and chat to people about The Salvation Army programs.

The Hamodava Café is a welcoming venue providing breakfast, lunch, coffee and tea, as well as support to people from all walks of life, especially those living on the margins of society. Hamodava Cafe’s primary purpose is about building relationships with people and developing a strong sense of belonging and acceptance for all and to assist them out of their current state of homelessness. The Hamodava Cafe operates from 8.15am to 2pm, Monday-Friday.
