About the role
At The Salvation Army Melbourne, we highly value ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and included. We are looking for friendly and personable volunteers to welcome everyone who enters the building, including community members, volunteers and the general public. These volunteers will also be trained to inform people about the various Salvation Army programs and services offered and make calls to Salvation Army staff for referrals when required.
Hours of operation: Open Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm, shifts will be split to 9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm.
Volunteer frequency: 1 day per week.
Qualifications preferred: High-level people skills.
