About the role
Do you have an interest in medicinal cannabis and it’s potential for Australian medicine?
YES? – Help us continue our mission to educate doctors and others in the healthcare industry, promote and facilitate medical research into new conditions for prescribing, and advocate for easier access and subsidy to this medicine for the most vulnerable Australian patients.
We are a vibrant and active education, advocacy and research body (formed Nov 2016) consisting of medical professionals, Not-For-Profit specialists and IT/Media professionals. We are seeking to add to our existing board of 4.
Ideally our candidate will have existing interest in this medicine and how it may help sick Australians, knowledge and experience in the Not-For-Profit space and/or the network to those who would like to be philanthropically involved.
Knowledge of board governance, constitution and administration would be of great value but not compulsory.
An extensive business network would be of great benefit in this role.
