About the role
The Helping Hand Project is a community-based organisation
Mentor meet with their Mentee on an ongoing basis, developing a relationship that supports and encourages the participant’s transition and settlement into community.
Volunteers commit to a 12-month period, approximately 2 hours per week or fortnight, in order to allow time to build a strong relationship.
Mentors support young people who are based in the City of Moonee Valley, Brimbank and Maribyrnong.
We provide Mentors with training and support. Mentors have access to culturally sensitive training and regular monthly ongoing support.
About the organisation
