About the role
Expressions of Interest are invited for the position of Independent Member on Gymnastics Victoria’s Governance and Nominations Committee.
Gymnastics Victoria is a leading state sporting association, and the governing body for gymnastics in Victoria. As the third highest participation sport in Victoria for children under 12, and with a coach and judge workforce numbering more than 2500, gymnastics in Victoria is a strong industry that develops essential early years foundation skills and provides pathways for athletes through seven Gymsports.
In addition to skills in Policy and Development, the successful candidate will have extensive experience at a senior management level in the area of Human Resources. Technical knowledge in the area of change management, organisational development practices to shape organisational culture, recruitment, induction and skills assessment will be highly valued.
This is a new voluntary position, the term of which is until June 2023 – with the possibility of re-appointment. A position description is available here: PD_Independent Committee Member
