About the role

We are looking for some passionate and motivated young leaders to join Empowered Together’s Operations team as workshop facilitators.

Our primary goal as an organisation is to facilitate consent education workshops in secondary schools, and hopefully universities and community groups very soon. Workshop facilitators are responsible for being the faces of the organisation, they will facilitate workshops across Victoria and receive high quality training in facilitation methods, gender equality, gendered violence prevention training, bystander training and how to handle disclosures.
There are also opportunities to work in workshop development to explore new avenues, and even host training sessions for the cohort of facilitators.

Our vision is a world where sexual integrity is respected, sexual violence is taken seriously and those who have experienced sexual violence receive the support they need to heal. We are youth run and seek to engage this generation to lead the change. Our two main operations include running workshops on consent and sexual assault in secondary schools and engaging the wider community through our online platforms.
